About the Presenters:

Bob Schmidt – National Sales DirectorACH Food

Bob is the National Sales Director at ACH Foods, where he is responsible for improving and enhancing trade investment strategies, and leveraging analytics which allows for much stronger discussions with its top customers.  In addition to focusing on Trade Management, he is also leads the internal sales process which focuses on collaborating with Brand, Finance and Retail Field sales to ensure alignment across its portfolio of products.

Prior to ACH Foods, Bob spent 15 years at Barilla America where he lead the Trade Marketing group as well as holding other lead sales roles in Specialty, Club, Mass and Foodservice.  Bob received his Business degree from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. He and his wife Cathy have 3 children, and 7 grandchildren, and make their home in Barrington, Illinois


Dale Hagemeyer – Partner, Promotion Optimization Institute, LLC

Previous to joining the POI, Dale was a research vice president and managing vice president at Gartner for 15 years. There he did research in the application of technology to the business processes of trade promotion and field sales automation for consumer goods manufacturers.

Prior to Gartner he spent 14 years in management positions related to promotion and distribution of products at Sunbeam Corporation, The Quaker Oats Company, PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and Kroger. He also fulfilled an international assignment in Mexico from 1995 to 1996.

Dale has served on various industry advisory boards for trade associations and industry periodicals. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Chicago.


Chris Rice – VP Sales & Marketing, North America, Exceedra

Chris Rice is a CPG industry veteran with extensive experience in sales and marketing with such companies as IBM DemandTec, Information Resources Inc., CAS and Quaker Oats Company. Mr. Rice has expertise in TPM, TPO, strategic trade and marketing planning, retail execution and shopper insights.
