The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of all EMEA projects, through correctly capturing the client’s requirements, and working with them to ensure that the solution is correctly deployed and the client end users are able to use it.

Job Specification

Key Accountabilities

This role has two areas of focus:

  1. Supporting delivery of EMEA projects
  • Ensuring that the scope of the software installation is agreed with the client during the project design phase by:
    • Owning the required design workshops / meetings, including preparing suitable inputs for these sessions.
    • Documenting the client requirements in full after the workshops, in the form of a client configuration document and interface specification.
    • Ensuring that the documentation provided to the client is fully reviewed and approved by the customer before build commences.
  • Supporting the build phase of EMEA projects by:
    • Clarifying any ambiguities in client requirements to allow the technical staff to understand the build tasks required.
    • Working with the technical lead to identify any change requests, and estimate effort required to deliver them.
  • Ensuring the quality of the solution delivered by:
    • Undertaking details internal testing to identify any deviations from the agreed client requirements.
  • Ensuring successful deployment of the solutions by:
    • Supporting user acceptance testing
    • Delivering train the trainer training to client super users.
    • Supporting go-live / cut over activities.
  1. Continually improving the engagement consultant activities across Exceedra by providing best practice process and templates for adoption across the business.

The above list of duties is not exhaustive and is subject to change.  The post holder may be required to undertake other duties.

  • The role holder will work to a set of objectives as agreed with the PMO Lead. These will include:
    • Engagement consultancy of agreed projects
    • Contribution to the standard project framework.

This role does not have management responsibility for any staff members.

  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of how the Exceedra tool can be best configured to deliver client requirements.
Personal Specification

Essential

  • Expert knowledge of techniques for requirements elicitation and capture.
  • Expert knowledge of production of documentation for software implementations.
  • Understanding of how to operate a successful user acceptance testing phase.
  • Knowledge of working in client-facing environments
  • Requirements capture
  • Client training
  • Documentation – ability to produce high quality technical documentation is an absolutely key requirement for this role.
  • More than 5 years of business analysis experience in a client-facing role.
  • Good at working with people
  • Organised
  • Pro-active
  • Completer-finisher who takes ownership for their tasks

Desirable

  • Relevant Business Analysis certification.
  • Knowledge of the FMCG industry.
  • BA experience in the FMCG sector.
