Steve Rimmer – Managing Director, On-drive Consulting
Steve is a successful FMCG professional, having worked for major FMCG manufacturers such as; Nestle Purina, Heinz, Premier Foods, and pladis global (United Biscuits). Steve’s background is sales, however, he moved into the role of Market, Strategy & Planning Controller at pladis (UB) , where he drove commercial strategies and Revenue Management across some of the UK’s biggest brands such as; McVities and Jacobs. Steve then advanced to the role of Head of Sales Capability at pladis. In that role, Steve created, published and launched the Sales Competencies and the Capability Strategy for pladis sales.
On the strength of this, Steve set up “On-drive consulting” in Jan 2018 which specialises in project/consultancy work and interim placements across Sales, Commercial Strategy, Revenue Management and Sales Capability. In a short period of time, Steve has worked with household brands such as Quorn & Tyrrells, an FMCG business new to the UK, and as an associate to Exsellence.
