pladis UK & Ireland have won the Digital Leadership award for the implementation and impact of Sales Planner at the annual “Stars of the Year” awards by Yildiz Holding. Sales Planner is an Exceedra tool which pladis UK & Ireland implemented in late 2017.  

Sales Planner enables an organization to have an executive view of their business by improving visibility of the commercial plan and giving a greater understanding of how plans affect budget delivery. “Promotional management is absolutely critical to everything we do in the UK, it makes or breaks our profit every year” said Nick Bunker, MD of pladis UK & Ireland as he accepted the award, later adding that it “is one of the things that is helping turn our business around”.

Through implementing the Exceedra Sales Planner tool, pladis have seen an improvement in forecast accuracy of 10%. Their goal was to enhance their trade promotion management capability and open new promotional optimization features; all within one system and through using Exceedra’s Sales Planner tool, they achieved this.
