Exceedra have been selected for the Cloudex 20:20, a shortlist of the fastest growing cloud based companies in the UK. The selection criteria was based on innovation and global competitiveness as well as turnover growth, with the overall winner to be revealed in September.
The panel of judges is comprised of industry experts including Steve Garnett, European Chairman of Salesforce – the world’s leading cloud computing business; Stephen Warshaw – Operating Partner at TMT specialist investor HgCapital; Neville Davis – Chairman of Technology businesses Fourth Hospitality and Secure Data; Angela Eager – TechMarketView; Emma Rodgers – Senior TMT Analyst, Clearwater.
The Cloudex team at Clearwater, along with the team of panellists, hunted for the top twenty cloud companies in the UK market today. Cloudex, which focuses on and highlights the performance of the listed population of cloud companies globally, decided that it was time to shine a light on some of the great UK based independent players out there, who are making waves with innovative and disruptive cloud technologies across a range of markets.
Richard Nicholas, Exceedra’s Sales and Consulting Director, said: “We are extremely pleased to receive this recognition. Over 3 years ago we brought to market our cloud based solutions, designed to disrupt the enterprise software market in the area of Integrated Business Planning. In the past 12 months we have seen a step change in how our customers, such as consumer goods companies such as Sony Music, Dyson, Bayer and Weetabix, wish to deploy software, as SaaS-based solutions deliver faster ROIs and are lower risk for companies.”
The Exceedra profile in the Cloudex 20:20 highlights that Exceedra is positioned in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software market with solutions for Consumer Goods companies. Exceedra can be differentiated from competitors due to its strong design, focused on empowering the user experience to drive higher value business plans.
Emma Rodgers of Clearwater said: “There is a legion of innovative businesses that are among the fastest growing in the UK, and our survey was able to highlight and celebrate these companies, many of whom fall below the radar. As our judges remarked, our survey showed the tremendous opportunities and challenges that these companies face as they race to become market leaders in their specific field.”
